DR. MARCELO NICOLELA (CANADÁ)

Dr. Nicolela joined the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Dalhousie University, in 1998. In 2014 he became the Head of the Department and Chief of the Ophthalmology Service of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

He has 12 book chapters and over 110 peer-reviewed articles published in the main Ophthalmologic Journals

Dr. Nicolela is the past president of the Canadian Glaucoma Society.

   

DR. PAUL HARASYMOWYCZ (CANADÁ)

 

Medical director of the Bellevue Ophthalmology Clinics and the Montreal Glaucoma Institute

Dr. Paul Harasymowycz heads the glaucoma research unit at the University of Montreal and has served as clinician and researcher at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and the Guy-Bernier Research Centre since 2011. He is medical director of the Bellevue Ophthalmology Clinics and the Montreal Glaucoma Institute. He is also medical director of the Quebec Glaucoma Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting glaucoma research in Quebec, increasing public awareness of the disease and informing people who suffer from the illness.
